Hummus with Coconut Oil & Chia Seeds

Serves: 6



  1. Blend Ingredients: In a food processor, combine the chickpeas, tahini, organic extra virgin coconut oil, minced garlic, lemon juice, and Pink Himalayan salt. Process until smooth.
  2. Adjust Consistency: If the hummus is too thick, add water, one tablespoon at a time, and blend until you reach the desired consistency.
  3. Serve: Transfer the hummus to a serving bowl. Create a shallow well in the center using the back of a spoon.
  4. Garnish: Drizzle with a bit of olive oil if desired. Sprinkle organic white chia seeds over the top, followed by a dash of paprika or sumac for added color and flavor.
  5. Serve with pita bread, vegetable sticks, or as a spread in wraps and sandwiches.
